Our almost 100-year tradition

1923

Establishment of the company: My grandfather laid the foundation stone for the gardening business in the residential and commercial building at Bruchsaler Strasse 9 in Bruchsal-Untergrombach.

1959

The house and the nursery move to today's property in Joss-Fritz-Str. 2 um.

1967

Oskar Lauber, my grandfather retired from active professional life and handed over the business to my father, Benno Lauber. He ran the business for 17 years. Under his direction, a distillery right was acquired in 1977 and a distillery was built on today's premises.

1984

The third generation started with me, Harald Lauber.

1987

I successfully passed the master's examination in the field of horticulture with a focus on ornamental plant cultivation in Heidelberg. At the same time, a new shop, a sales and a production greenhouse with a total area of more than 680 m² were built on the current site. A roofed open sales area of 140m² and ten parking spaces were built on the company premises.

1987

The grave design and care was integrated as a further branch of the company.

1990

Completion of training as a florist in Grünberg.

2003

Extensive measures to modernize the distillery shaped this year. Among other things, a new boiler and other equipment for the operation of the distillery were purchased.

2014

Graduated from the technical school for viticulture in Weinsberg as an agricultural master distiller. There are currently only around 70 master distillers in Germany. Also in 2014, a modern tasting room was built for tasting and holding seminars to present the distillery trade.

2016

This year the Lauber distillery takes part in the "Baden Best Spirits" award for the first time with great success. Our fires immediately achieved eight medals. The award takes place every two years.

2018

The distillery receives 18 medals at the award ceremony.

2020

The success continues. Our distillery achieved 28 medals at the “Baden Best Spirits” 2020. This makes us proud and is also what drives us for the future.

2021

The Lauber nursery and distillery opens its online shop.
